Randy Wilkins is President and CEO of Sydri Energy, Inc. Mr. Wilkins has over thirty years in the energy industry working in a variety of technical and executive capacities. Mr. Wilkins began his career at Pennzoil Exploration and Production Company as a Field Drilling/Completion Engineer. Later, Mr. Wilkins served in the same capacity for Enron Oil and Gas. Following his employment with Enron, Mr. Wilkins served as Operations Manager for Tana Oil and Gas Corporation. Following the sale of all of Tana's assets to an affiliate of Unocal Corporation in 2000, Mr. Wilkins then served as Vice President of Engineering for Basa Resources, Inc. for a period of 6 years. In 2003, while still at Basa, Mr. Wilkins formed Sydri Energy Partners, Ltd. (SEP) and Sydri Energy Inc. (SEI) to manage non-operated working oil and gas interests. In January 2007, Mr. Wilkins elected to devote his full resources and energies to the growth of SEP and SEI. In August 2007, Mr. Wilkins formed Sydri Energy Investment, Ltd., and with SEP, acquired a forty-two percent (42%) interest in the Bryan Woodbine Operating Company. In March 2008, SEP acquired an interest in the Sinton field located in San Patricio County, Texas. Mr. Wilkins then formed Sydri Operating, LLC to operate and manage those properties and future properties, as well.
Mr. Wilkins received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in August 1982. Mr. Wilkins is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Mr. Wilkins is a former Director for the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, Dallas Petroleum Club and Gale Force Petroleum. Mr. Wilkins is also currently a member of the Dallas Producers Club and Dallas Wildcatters, and currently a director for Mike Ryan Ministries, Voice of Hope Ministries, Magnolia Energy and Ajax Resources, LLC.
David Rockwell currently serves as Chief Accounting Officer for Sydri Energy, Inc. and has been serving in that capacity since November 2008. Mr. Rockwell brings more than twenty-six years as a Certified Public Accountant and has considerable experience in oil and gas accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance and planning, business consulting, and financial planning. Mr. Rockwell joined KPMG Peat Marwick in 1986, rose to Senior Manager, and in his eight years with the firm managed several of the largest clients in the business unit. Among these was an oil and gas drilling company valued at over two hundred seventy five million dollars ($275MM). Mr. Rockwell also established financial plans for many individuals and their companies resulting in millions of dollars in income and estate tax savings. For the next fourteen years, Mr. Rockwell was the owner and principal of the accounting firm David S. Rockwell CPA, overseeing a diversified practice of over one hundred thirty businesses and individuals. Among these were many energy related corporations and partnerships.
Mr. Rockwell graduated from Corpus Christi State University (Texas A&M – Corpus Christi) in 1986 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. In addition, Mr. Rockwell has received his accreditation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as a Personal Financial Planning Specialist (PFS). Mr. Rockwell has served as President and Treasurer of the Food Bank of Corpus Christi, and as a visiting computer instructor at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi.
